Ingredients

  • 450 g Strawberries hulled
  • 4-5 tbsp Cherry brandy
  • 300 ml Dale Farm fresh double cream
  • 6 small Meringues crushed

Method

1. Chop the strawberries, reserving a few for decoration, and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with the cherry brandy, cover and chill for 2 hours.
2. Whip the cream until it holds soft peaks. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries, juices and most of the crushed meringues. Spoon into serving dishes and decorate with the reserved strawberries and remaining meringue.
