We have been making award winning local ice-cream at our factory in Kilrea for over 60 years, when in 1954, Walter Mullin Senior and his family began making and selling delicious ice-cream using fresh local milk. It’s thanks to the skill and dedication of the whole team that we can say Mullins is that bit more special than the rest.

Known and loved for our creamy taste and delicious range of flavours, we have continued to grow from strength to strength and now produce a wide range of multi- award winning ice-cream which is only ever made using locally-sourced milk and cream, staying true to our roots.

In 2013, Mullins Ice Cream was acquired by Dale Farm, which combined the experienced Mullins team with a long heritage of ice-cream making, and Dale Farm’s years of industry knowledge, ready to take Mullins to new heights.

Whilst remaining true to our traditional ethos, we continually evolve and regularly experiment with new flavour innovations to stay ahead of consumer trends. Our amazing team includes some of the most talented ice cream makers in the country, dedicated to crafting innovative and exciting flavours. In the past two years new product development has introduced flavours such as Candyfloss, Toffee Apple and Mississippi Mudslide into our range.
