When did you join Dale Farm, and in what capacity?
I joined Dale Farm in August 2018 as a Graduate Management Trainee. This provides me with the opportunity to gain cross-functional exposure throughout the company with a key focus on departments such as New Product Development, Quality & Technical and Marketing.
What attracted you to our Graduate scheme?
I was attracted to the graduate scheme because it offered a wide range of opportunities to succeed. Being able to participate in the Future Leaders Programme through Queens University Belfast provides personal and professional development along with a formal qualification. I also loved the idea of working in a fast-paced, challenging environment and to be involved in a diverse range of projects. It is a great opportunity to make friends and to build positive working relationships.

What have you enjoyed most since starting Dale Farm?
I have found it very exciting being a part of the NPD team as it gives first-hand experience in the development of new products or enhancing existing ones. One of my key projects is in the area of ice cream. Leading this project has enabled me to work closely with various departments in the company and provides the opportunity to take a product concept though a system and eventually to factory launch. I have gained confidence in this area through preparing and conducting trials, organising team project meetings and developing recipes.
