• 4 large Comber potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1 large Leek washed and chopped
  • 1 medium cauliflower broken into florets
  • 1 large onion roughly chopped
  • 2 litres Dale Farm whole milk
  • 20 grams Dromona Butter
  • 100 grams Dromona Mild Grated Cheddar
  • 1 bunch chives chopped
  • 4 rashers back bacon strips fried (optional)
  • slices wheaten bread
A delicious warming soup perfect for a cold day. Enjoy with a slice of wheaten bread smothered in Dromona butter.

Cook Time: 30 - 40 minutes


1. Melt butter in a large pan and add onion, heat until soft.
2. Add chopped vegetables and whole milk to the onion. Bring to the boil.
3. Reduce heat and leave to simmer for 30-40 mins until vegetables are soft.
4. Add cheddar cheese and chopped chives, blend until smooth.
